1) Blacjack Insurance. When the Dealer asks if you want to buy “Insurance”, just say “NO”. This will be offered to you when the Dealer shows an ACE. With an eight-deck game the House Advantage is 7.47 %. This is offered to protect you from the dealer having a ten or face card. The Insurance will cost you more over the long haul. I always tell them that “I like to sell insurance, not buy it!”
2) Slot Machines. The House Advantage varies from 5% to 17%. In our Pittsburgh area Casino’s by Pennsylvania Law, 15% is the maximum Edge they are allowed. They usually have an edge of 7% to 12%. Baccarat is an easy game to play. It also offers fair odds. This table game is easy to just start playing. Here is How To play Baccarat.
1) Bet on the Banker.
2) Bet on the player.
3) Bet on a tie.
You place your bet before each hand. The Banker Bet has the lowest house odds! After making your bet, you and the banker receive 2 or 3 cards.
Here are the card values:
Aces = 1
Face Cards and Tens = 0
Other Cards = face value, example, 1 = 1, 2 = 2, 3 = 3, etcetra.

Add up the Total of your Cards. The Highest Total WINS!!!
This is a very simple game to play without learning a lot of rules. Let me show you an example of a winning hand. The Banker is dealt a five and four. The Player is dealt a seven and a six.
Only the Last Digit Counts in Baccarat!
The Banker Bet Wins!
In this example The Banker’s Total is 5+4 = 9. The Player’s Total is 7+6 = 13. In Baccarat 9 is higher than the Player’s Last Digit of 3.
The House Advantage on the Banker Bet is only 1.06%.

There is one thing that you must do before placing an ODDS BET. You must have placed a PASS LINE BET. Here is how you make this bet. Make your PASS LINE BET. If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is rolled, you place more chips behind your ORIGINAL PASS LINE BET.

For a 4 or 10, it pays TWO to ONE.
5 or 9, THREE to TWO is the payoff.
6 or 8, the payoff is SIX to FIVE.
There will be a SIGN listing the Limits of the table. You may see 3-4-5X on the sign. This is how you will make your bets.
UP to 3X your PASS LINE BET for a 4 or 10.
UP to 4X for a 5 or 9.
UP to 5X for a 6 or 8.
Always ask the Dealer about the size of your bet if you don’t know. The Dealer may tell you the limits for each hand if you are a Gambler who TIPS! It is how they make their money. Their hourly wages are very low. As we have mentioned, TIPPING is allowed in the Casino!
